Situated on the southern end of Yeongdo Bridge, Bay Hound Hotel is 700 metres from Nampo Subway Station (Busan Line 1). The hotel offers in-house dining and free WiFi in all areas.

Finished with wooden flooring, all rooms at Bay Hound comes with a work desk, a coffee and tea set, bathrobes and free toiletries. Satellite channels are available on the flat-screen TV. Private bathroom is fitted with both a bath and a shower.

A cheap stay in a convenient location

The hotel was an easy walk across the harbour and with many bus routes nearby (such as to Huinnyeoul Culture Village). The room was very spacious, and had a nice view. Enjoyed the pojangmachas directly outside the hotel in the evenings.

The front desk staff were not particularly welcoming or helpful.

Very Good

The beds and pillows are very comfortable, which is important for a good night's sleep. Breakfasts are plentiful, varied and inexpensive. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Of course, this is not a high-class place, but it’s a decent place for a low price

The rooms really require cosmetic repairs, as rightly indicated in the reviews of other guests. Foot mats in the bathroom need to be purchased new or washed more thoroughly

Good hotel in a bad location

Big rooms and lots of freebies like combs and razors and more. The staff were very nice

The location. It’s in poor location and the Koreans around wasn’t pleased with me and my friends walking around the neighborhood. We got chased twice by some drunk old men. Adding to that, the reception doesn’t work 24/7, we tried to check out at 7 in the morning and for half an hour there was no one at the front desk. We almost missed out our train to busan.

It was a great stay overall. The hotel was clean and in a great location!

No possibility of getting two duvets on the bed. Breakfast didn't match the one in the picture provided in the offer on booking.com, not a lot of options to choose from.

I liked the room very much. It had all the necessities but also extra. Bathroom was super nice. Staff was friendly, they gave us space but seemed to be very approachable. Rooms were tidy, and it was easy to travel to different places from the hotel.

Breakfast was a bit confusing, because the info told us a different time than what it was in reality. It was okay, we managed without hotel breakfast one day. The next days hotel breakfast was really different compared to western world breakfast, there were very little options to choose from. Basically it was fries, rice, kimchi and pork. It was okay for me as I'm not a breakfast-person, but for some people it might be a deal breaker. I think we didn't pay extra for breakfast, so that was also okay! About the room, which was super nice, we heard the noises feom the night stands outside where people order and eat. It affected our night sleep a little bit but got used to it.

An above average hotel room, really comfy bed

An above average hotel room with its typical accessories, the room was quite big and the bed is really comfy.

It was a bit difficult to communicate with the staff, they only speak English a little.

Very accomodating personell, perfect location and best value in busan (Ive been here five times already)

They where incredibly accommodating! On the first morning we where a little late for breakfast cause we misunderstood the time and they still gave us some food (and even apologized) also we could leave our luggage there on our last day to explore and stay at the cafe they have to wait for our train, which was leaving late in the evening :) Also even though the location is across the river there are busses going literally everywhere and you are at Busan station or in the city center within 10 minutes :)

It was great due to the amazing staff.

To begin with, the staff were very kind and considerate. They saw our needs and create a suitable environment for us to feel comfortable. The location was excellent: Infront of the marina and the bridge,15 min wallk to the train station, Caffe and Convenience store within 2 min. The hotel parking lot is for free use.

The hotel is outdated.

Very good location. Easy to get everywhere in Busan from here. Daily fresh towels and bed sheets.

Availability in hot season at a reasonable price; location was better than we expected; 영도 보장마차 right in front of the hotel also was a nice surprise.

Nice hotel with super location

The room and the bathroom was clean, comfortable, they kept our luggage before checking in, personal were helpful. The most I liked the location, the harbor gives the place specific "open" feeling and also liked a fragrance of stalls with seafood dishes on the walk to to hotel in the evening. We got the hotel for budget price, which was quite a bonus.

The room was a bit dark. But the only thing which I did not like, was that curtains in room were previously used in a smoking room. This filled the room with specific smell (frequent travelers know what I mean). It was very slight, my mother did not smell it at all, I have extremely good nose, and after some time in the room, I stop smell it also. But for people with asthma it could be a problem. If they would change, or properly wash the curtains, it would be great hotel with even double price acceptable.

Good and clean hotel with a good location

- Location, Busan Station 5 minutes by Taxi, Haeundae Beach around 45 minutes by bus - Small convenience store next to the hotel - Lotte Mall 15 minutes by walking - Many small shops and eating places around the hotel - awesome for the cheap price - water heater

- dirty cups - bathroom gets wet after taking a shower since there was no door for the shower therefore you have to be careful in the bathtub - wlan slow sometimes - coffee and breakfast

The location is great if you want to explore this part of the city and a bus stop is very near.
